Are you peeps ready for Scamper to rock your ass old school tonight at the Abbey? The boys and I have been warming up a few Scamper classics (or Sclassics TM) for your nostalgic pleasure tonight. This is a rare opportunity to hear some of your favorites from the bygone era that Keith, Nate and Mike like to refer to as "The Good Old Days Before That Worthless Prick On Bass Joined The Band And Ruined It." Those crazy guys - always joking.
It's a throwback night all around in many ways. First, Luke O'Neil - my buddy from the halcyon days of college - will open the night with some songs from his band The Good North. After that, Spiraling from New Jersey (State motto: "Please forgive us Joe Piscopo") will be throwing back a few brews before busting your asses with keyboard driven rock. Then, the Nonfamous will be on. Um... we'll be picking up Courtney and throwing her into the back room. She's very little - easy to throw. I don't know - this "throwback" theme ran out of gas real quick, didn't it?
But in keeping with the theme, I thought I'd open up the floor to you long time Scamper folks and ask you a question: what was your favorite moment from days of Scamper past? Have at it.

my favorite moment you ask?
well..remember that time..after the show..and we all put on hats..then we went out on the streets and yelled "GOTCHA!" and hugged random people...then we all danced like men without hats..but we were still wearing them..and these little midgets were singing and the david hasselhoff came running towards us with his man boobs..and we starting singing "current of love"...and then we all did rockettes kicks...all of this before the cops came and shot us...
that's right..we're all really dead...
great memory huh?
How far do I have to throw back? Does early 2004 count?
Anything before last Tuesday counts as "throw back."
My favorite moments were pre-production for Leave Your Glasses On, in February 2004.
September 3, 2004 - my very first Longshot synchronized jump. It's like I had been training my whole life for it.
More of Brendo in training:

"woo hoo..thank god i don't play in that band..i would never sink that low"
Had I been around for it, the Nate Headband Era would definitely have been my favorite Scamper memory.
Favorite Scamper moment? Ooh, there are so many...
How about listening to Def Leppard in the car while going on the NY tour.
Headband era RULED.
I wonder if we'll be looking back on the Nate eyeliner era with such warm regard.
The albany trip with nate, marc and me singing 80's tunes.
AAA EEEE AAAA EEEE AAAEEA ANGEL COME AND SAVE ME TONIGHT.
My personal favorite were the days when Scamper answered a higher calling, and galavanted about the stage as members of the clergy.
