Following in big footsteps

The band Scamper is so in with the Boston music scene, that it has collaborated with hometown indie-rock herione Kay Hanley and has recorded at the studio used by members of Buffalo Tom and Aimee Mann. Tonight, the indie-pop group, which takes its cues from bands such as Hanley's former outfit, Letters To Cleo, teams up with Harris, Baker, and Hospital Grade for a gig at the Middle East Upstairs. If you're lucky, you'll be treated to tunes from Scamper's "Boulevards EP," which features the peppy love song "Barcelona."
