It was a pleasure to hit the stage with Brett Rosenberg for the second weekend in a row, this time on our home turf in Somerville, Mass. It was Brett's official CD release of Shocktwins, highly recommended material and incidentally his fourth album. This guy works hard.

This was Scamper's last show for a while, giving the band time to get recording underway on their first album, which means there will be a turnover of material between the 7 weeks or so that Scamper stays offstage. That made the band nostalgic on Friday night, and prompted a revisit from Scamper classics like Lucy and Black & White Truth.

Bishop Allen was professional... as in professing the rock-solid pop like kings of their genre. It was especailly great to play to their fun fanbase, which helped produce yet another sold out club in this young year. Brett and his Rosenbergs were fantastic as usual, so go buy his album and believe the hype.
