Despite connections to the Capital District of NY from the 80s and early 90s, even Boston rock sensations Scamper and the Brett Rosenberg problem could do little to electirfy the late night Albany music scene. A good handful of loyal friends and family did come out and stay late for the rock, and we are of course forever grateful. Taking the stage after midnight is never much fun around these parts. But really, how can you complain when you see your mom and your childhood best friend both drunk and bouncing up and down for the entirety of one of your songs? Thanks to Eros Amore and Grand Habit for opening the night, and especially to Eros Amore for letting all the bands use their drum kit. Note to Black-Eyed Peas: *that's* where the love is. By the way, is it weird when someone doesn't know what year they graduated high school? Especially when that person is, say, 19ish years old? Yeah. |
